In the middle of the village of Bredenbeck, there was a place like a little park with trees around it. In the middle of the park stands the "Kriegerdenkmal" a monument of the fallen warriers of World War II. After school most of the young people of Bredenbeck had an apointment at that place. In the evening the older people settled down at the benches, which were located around the monument.
