Between Steinkrug and Bredenbeck there is the source of the creek of the black "Beeke". The creek flows through the village of Bredenbeck, combines with the yellow "Beeke" behind the Knigge Estate and "falls" into the ponds at the "Unterste Muehle". This mill is located in a distance of 1 kilometre from the Knigge Estate and is called the lowest mill, for the main mill was at the Knigge Estate itselfs.
The shepherd with several great dogs, turkeys and some peacocks lived at that mill. His son was my fellow at school. Therefore I spent a lot of time in the mill and around the ponts.
